PATNA, Aug. 8 -- Alliance Air will launch its Kolkata-Patna-Bhopal flight, operating three times a week, from August 10, an airline official said on Friday. The flight (91-733) will operate on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. It will leave Kolkata at 11.50 am and reach Patna at 1.20 pm. The flight will then leave Patna at 1.45 pm to reach Bhopal at 4.15 pm. On return, the flight (91-734) will leave Bhopal at 5.05 pm to reach Patna at 7.35 pm before leaving Patna at 8 pm to reach Kolkata at 9.30 pm, said Kumud Ranjan of Mamta Travels & Caterers, an IATA-accredited travel agency in Patna. "We have started booking tickets for the Bhopal-Patna-Kolkata flight service commencing from August 10," said Ranjan. The airline will operate a 72-seater ATR jet on this route, an official said. Ranjan said Air India also resumed from this month its Delhi-Patna-Delhi afternoon flight (AI2645/ AI 2646) service, which was discontinued in June due to fuel crisis arising out of Iran conflict. The flight, having a daily frequency, will leave Delhi at 1.05 pm to reach Patna at 2. before leaving Bihar's capital at 3.20 pm to reach Delhi at 5.15 pm....
