Dhanbad Police Nab Prince Khan Aide from UAE
Dhanbad, April 20 -- Dhanbad Police arrested an alleged key aide of gangster Prince Khan from the United Arab Emirates and are in the process of bringing him to the city for further interrogation.
Police said, accused Abbas Naqvi, also known as "Safe" alias "Major," was believed to be a close associate and operative of Prince Khan. He had been evading arrest for long and was actively involved in the gang's operations.
Police said the arrest was made with the help of central agencies and coordinated efforts abroad. After being detained in the UAE, the accused was brought to India and was currently being handled by law enforcement agencies. Following due procedures, he was expected to be brought to Dhanbad for questioning.
Investigators believe Prince Khan, suspected to be operating from abroad, runs his criminal network using internet-based calls and virtual numbers to threaten businessmen and extort money. Over the past few years, police have arrested more than 50 members linked to the gang. Continuous raids and surveillance in Wasseypur and adjoining areas have also been intensified to dismantle the group's local support system....
