CBI arrests 2 offenders in 20-yr-old SBI fraud
Dhanbad, June 23 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested two proclaimed offenders, Brijbhushan Prasad and Kartar Singh, in connection with a long-pending bank fraud case involving misappropriation of funds from the State Bank of India (SBI), Main Branch, Dhanbad, officials said on Monday.
According to a CBI press release issued on Monday, the agency arrested both accused on June 21 after tracking them down through sustained efforts, technical inputs and coordinated action.
