Bizman's body found hours after abduction
RANCHI, April 27 -- A 32-year-old businessman involved in land trade, identified as Vinit Tiwari, was found dead in Jharkhand's Palamau district on Sunday morning just hours after he was abducted.
The victim was allegedly abducted from his house in Redma area of Medininagar on Saturday night. Witnesses reported seeing individuals in four vehicles forcibly taking Tiwari away around 7 PM. Despite an immediate search operation by police, his naked body, bearing severe injury marks, was discovered early Sunday morning near Jorkat under Sadar police station limits.
SP Kapil Choudhary, who personally visited the site, confirmed that a specialised team was deployed immediately after the abduction was reported.
"We were informed about the man's abduction on Saturday night, and a team was immediately deployed to rescue him. His body bearing injury marks was recovered on Sunday morning. Family members said a land dispute could be the possible reason behind the murder," he said.
A police official close to the matter said some of the suspects had been detained. "Police detained some of the suspects for questioning and are currently examining CCTV footage from the Redma area to track the vehicles used in the kidnapping. A manhunt is underway for the named accused," he said....
