Bihar min orders probe into Rs.234 cr procurement irregularities at BMSICL
PATNA, Aug. 28 -- Bihar health minister Nishant has directed the department to initiate action on allegations of large-scale financial irregularities, tender manipulation and corruption in the procurement of microwave-compatible dustbins and customised biodegradable bags by the Bihar Medical Services and Infrastructure Corporation Ltd (BMSICL) between 2024 and 2026, officials said on Thursday.
In a communication dated August 21, he forwarded a complaint and its supporting documents submitted by Begusarai resident Kaushlesh Kumar and asked the department to take further action based on the facts and documents submitted.
