PATNA, May 24 -- The Bihar State Milk Co-operative Federation Limited has increased the prices of its milk products by up to Rs.3 per litre, citing a sustained rise in commodity and procurement costs, according to a statement issued on Saturday. The revised prices will come into effect from May 25. Under the new rates, Sudha Gold milk will now cost Rs.68 per litre, up from Rs.65, while Sudha Shakti milk has been raised from Rs.57 to Rs.60 per litre. The price of Sudha cow milk has increased from Rs.54 to Rs.57 per litre, Sudha Healthy from Rs.52 to Rs.55 per litre, and Sudha Delight from Rs.62 to Rs.65 per litre. The price of Sudha Smart milk has been increased from Rs.25 to Rs.26 for a 500 ml pouch. Prices of half-litre pouches across variants have also been revised upward by Rs.1 to Rs.2, while bulk packs have witnessed corresponding increases.
