PATNA, July 11 -- The special judge of vigilance court Atul Kumar Singh on Friday rejected the regular bail of accused Tarini Das, a retired chief engineer of the building construction department in tender scam case. The court had on Thursday had rejected the bail of contractor Rishu Ranjan Sinha alias Rishu Shri in the similar case. On the other hand, the court reserved the anticipatory bail plea of accused IAS officer Sanjiv Hans. The special public prosecutor, vigilance court Anandi Singh said that the special vigilance court rejected the regular bail petition of the accused Tarini Das, a retired chief engineer of the building construction department as sufficient evidence available against him on records.
