PATNA, Nov. 3 -- The Special Task Force (STF) arrested 11 criminals, including three arms peddlers, during separate raids across Bhojpur, Vaishali, and Sitamarhi on Monday, police said. Authorities seized a significant cache of contraband, including 1,900 live cartridges of various calibers, .32-bore pistols, two country-made pistols, 1,300 grams of charas, five mobile phones, a four-wheeler, and a motorcycle, they added. In the first raid, STF sleuths arrested three people and seized 19000 live carridges, .32 bore pistol with magazine, a four wheeler vehicle and five cell phones from their possession. In another raid, the STF arrested seven criminals from Vaishali district. Police recovered 11gram gold, 190 gram silver, two country made pistols, three live cartridges and lethal weapons used for break open locks and shutters. In the third raid, STF sleuths arrested a absconding criminal Prabhu Bhagat, who carried a reward of Rs 25,000 on his head. He was faces over 12 criminal case arrested from Sitamarhi.
