8-member band wiped out in j'khand crash
RANCHI, June 27 -- Eight members of a musical band party died after the pick-up van they were travelling in collided head-on with a coal-laden truck late Thursday night (11:30 pm). They were en route from Ramgarh to Muzaffarpur to perform during a Moharram procession. The accident occurred on the Ramgarh-Bokaro highway (NH-23) near Barlong Budhbazar under the jurisdiction of the Rajrappa Police Station.
