One body was fished out, while the search for the other two was still underway with the help of a State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team using motorboats, police said. Seeing their friend in distress, 15-year-old Raunak and 15-year-old Sundaram jumped into the deep water to save him. However, due to the strong current and depth of the river, all three disappeared, they added. Soon after the incident, panic gripped the ghat and locals began searching for the three teenagers on their own. "Later, locals informed the police. A police team from Khushrupur police station and an SDRF team reached the spot and launched a rescue operation. After an extensive search, the SDRF team recovered Ankush's body," a police officer said.
