BETTIAH, July 23 -- Two girls drowned while collecting shells in a river near Puraina Sareh under Majhaulia police station in West Champaran on Wednesday. Majhauliya's circle officer Dolly Kumari said the children were rescued from Akadaha river near Puraina Sareh and rushed to the hospital where they were declared dead. "The bodies have been sent for postmortem and compensation would be given to the family of each as per rule," Kumari said. The victims-- Radha Kumari and Gunja Kumari, both 10, were residents of Ojha Mathiya village in Ward No. 13 of Barka Semra Ghat panchayat....
