2 die as security forces fire at mob in manipur
Imphal, April 8 -- Two protesters were killed in ethnic violence-hit Manipur on Tuesday after security forces allegedly fired at a group of people, who took to the streets against the killing of a five-year-old boy and his six-month-old sister, stormed a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp, vandalised it, and set vehicles on fire.
State home minister Govindas Konthoujam said two people succumbed to bullet injuries, and at least 31 were injured as CRPF personnel controlled the mob.
