PURNEA, Sept. 21 -- Bihar's Purnea police rescued 14 cattles from being smuggled and apprehended 8 alleged smugglers, police said on Sunday. According to the press release issued on Sunday evening, the police acting on a tip off intercepted two pick-up vans in Banmankhi area and rescued 14 cattle. Police apprehended 8 people, who were alleged cattle smugglers. The arrested persons have been identified as Suresh Kumar, Mahanand Yadav, Prabhash Kumar, Rupesh Kumar, Sandeep Kumar, Rajdeep Kumar, Radheshyam Sah and Prince Kumar all residents of Madhepura.
