BHABUA, Aug. 7 -- A woman and her three alleged paramours were arrested on Thursday for killing a tailor in the Nuaon police station area of Kaimur district in Bihar in a case of "love quadrangle," police said. A case was registered on Tuesday for a missing man when the wife of tailor Ravindra Kumar, 25, of Akhini village filed a police complaint that her husband went missing after receiving a call on Monday evening. According to the complaint, Kumar's phone was switched off soon after he left home. Kumar was a Dalit. Police swung into action and Kaimur SP Shikhar Choudhary formed a SIT under Mohania SDPO Gopal Krishna. Following massive search by the police, the missing man's torso was recovered from the village pond while his head was found in bushes 300 metres away on Wednesday. Working on mobile tower dumps, electronic and manual intelligence, the SIT arrested Naushad Khan alias Sonu Khan, Markandey Mallah, Amit Kumar and Champa Devi alias Pinky Devi, wife of Shambhu Sharma. They all are residents of Akhini village, the SP, Kaimur, Choudhary said. Police said that during the investigation, the arrested men and woman confessed to killing Kumar. They said they killed Kumar, a tailor, who used to harrass village women. He was in a relationship with Pinky, who herself was in a relationship with other three accused, said the police officers. "Kumar was against Pinky's relationship with three other men and was pressuring her for leaving them. So, Pinky hatched a plan with her paramours to kill Kumar," said police. Three of them called Kumar near village pond on Monday on some pretext, strangled him and then chopped off his head, police said. A case in the matter has been registered at the Nuaon police station under sections 103 (1), 62 (2), 3(5) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and 3(2)(V) SC/ST Act against the accused based on the deceased's wife's statement; further legal action is underway, the SP said....
