NAVI MUMBAI, May 20 -- A 66-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by an unidentified person in Turbhe, Navi Mumbai, and her body was stuffed into a gunny sack and abandoned on a roadside near a residential locality, police said on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Aizarunnisa Abdul Wahid Khan, a resident of Shivshakti Nagar in the Turbhe Stores area. Police suspect the murder took place between 5.30pm on Monday and 3am on Tuesday in Shivshaktinagar. According to police, Khan had left home on Monday evening to buy vegetables but did not return. On Tuesday morning, a local resident discovered the sack containing her body near a streetlight pole and alerted the police. Investigators said strangulation marks on the victim's neck indicated that she was murdered before the body was disposed of. Police have launched a probe and are scanning CCTV footage from the area....
