Washington, Aug. 8 -- The US aviation regulator has asked operators of 471 Boeing 737 Max jets to undertake checks for cracks of a component that could undermine the structural integrity of the aircraft. The affected area impacts a component that structurally reinforces the front-door frame on some 737 planes, Boeing said.
