U-14 Ajit Naik Memorial: Arshiyan, Lavish score tons in MV Sports Club's 163-run win
Mumbai, Oct. 21 -- Century knocks from Arshiyan Shaikh (104 off 112) and Lavish Singh (140* off 113), along with a fine bowling spell from Aarav Yadav (7/38) powered MV Sports Club to a 163-run victory against Mumbai Police Gymkhana in a fourth-round match of the 29th Late Ajit Naik Memorial MCA boys' U-14 selection trials cricket tournament, played at Azad Maidan on Monday.
In a Round of 16 match played at Cross Maidan, Souvenir Cricket Club beat KRP Cricket Club by 12 runs. Vansh Khandale scored 55 to help get Souvenir to 163/9 in the allotted 45 overs. Then Shamsuddin Khan picked up four wickets to bowl out the opposition for 151.

Nayan Kajve scored both goals as Infant Jesus, Vasai beat St Paul's 'B', Dadar 2-1 in a men's open quarter-final play-off league match of the 45th Willingdon Catholic Gymkhana Rink Football Tournament. Malcolm Blakely scored St Paul's 'B', Dadar's consolation goal.

Three-time Asian billiards champion Dhruv Sitwala of India lost in the final of the World Billiards Championship to David Causier of England, in Walsall.
Sitwala struggled to find his rhythm while Causier was on a roll and had five century breaks of 167, 120, 168, 100, 114, and an equal number of double century efforts of 208, 295, 261, 241 and 288.
The Englishman signed off with a mammoth break of 699 to clinch the title....
