Mumbai, May 30 -- Former champion Iga Swiatek continued her march in search for a fifth title at the French Open when she beat compatriot Magda Linette 6-4, 6-4 in the third round in Paris on Friday. Each of the third seed's wins at Roland Garros this term have come without her dropping a set. The latest triumph however, sets up a highly-anticipated clash against 15th seed and in-form Marta Kostyuk of Ukraine. "Marta is having a great season. She always had a game to play well," Swiatek said after her win. "So good for her. But I'm going to focus on myself, prepare tactically, as before any other match, and we'll see." In recent years, Swiatek has made a name for herself as being a dominant force, particularly on clay. Four of her six Grand Slam titles, in fact, have come at the French Open. Meanwhile, Kostyuk is on a 15-match unbeaten run on the surface, which includes titles at the WTA 250 event in Rouen, France, and the prestigious Madrid Masters. Kostyuk entered the fourth round clash against Swiatek on the back of a straight-forward 6-4, 6-3 win over Swiss player Viktorija Golubic. "I'm still the person who lost to (Swiatek) three times, and she's won this tournament four times," Kostyuk said. "I would love to be the one who is a favorite in this match, but I still don't think it's the case, even though I have this really long streak." Also through to the fourth round is 19-year-old Mirra Andreeva, the eight seed, who beat 27th seed from Czechia Marie Bouzkova 6-4, 6-2. Another Czech player to exit the tournament was 10th seed Karolina Muchova, who was upset 6-1, 7-5 by Switzerland's Jill Teichmann. Seventh seed Elina Svitolina also moved into the fourth round with a 6-2, 6-3 win over German player Tamara Korpatsch. In the men's singles draw, rising Spanish star Rafael Jodar came from behind to beat American Alex Michelsen 7-6(2), 6-7(5), 4-6, 6-3, 6-3, in a match that lasted four hours and 16 minutes. Eleventh seed Russian Andrey Rublev was made to work hard against Portugal's Nuno Borges, eventually winning 7-5, 7-6(2), 7-6(2). Later on Court Simonne-Mathieu, Alex de Minaur became the latest top 10 player in the men's draw to suffer an exit. Playing against Czech youngster Jakub Mensik, the eight seeded Australian won the opening set with ease before losing 0-6, 6-2, 6-2, 6-3 to the 26th seeded 20-year-old. Mensik's win came after he suffered from severe cramps at the end of his four-hour 41-minute second round match against Mariano Navone on Wednesday....
