Mumbai, June 9 -- India's 2026 T20 World Cup-winning captain Suryakumar Yadav scored a second consecutive half-century as Triumph Knights MNE beat MSC Maratha Royals by six wickets in the T20 Mumbai League on Monday, at the Wankhede Stadium. The Royals were bowled out for 152 courtesy opening bowler Sylvester Dsouza taking 5/21. Later, Yadav scored an unbeaten 72 off 36 balls, while Nutan Goel scored 56 from 42 in the win. Yadav's back-to-back half-centuries in the Mumbai league came just days after he was dropped, as captain and player, from the Indian T20I team that will tour England and Ireland. In the second match of the day, Arjun Tendulkar starred for ARCS Andheri in the team's nine-wicket win over Bandra Blasters. Opening the bowling, Tendulkar took 3/11 as the Blasters were restricted to 144/9 in their 20 overs. The 26-year-old all-rounder then came into bat at No.3 and scored an unbeaten 66 off 34. Along with Musheer Khan's unbeaten 54 from 38, he guided the team to a second win in their three games played so far this season.
