Mumbai, May 30 -- Sulakshan Kulkarni Cricket Academy won the U-19 HDFC Bank Parivartan Cup played at Mahul, Chembur, after beating Shree Maa Vidyalaya by seven wickets.
"Dilip Vengsarkar is the only former captain of India who has contributed to the game at the grassroot level," said MCA president Ajinkya Naik, speaking at the prize distribution function. "Dilip sir's contribution to cricket is unmatched in India."
Brief scores: Shree Maa Vidyalaya 115 (Aagneya Aadi 38; Prabhanjan Patade 4/11, Sanchit Kadam 4/21) lost to Sulakshan Kulkarni CA 116/3 (Lakshya Jhawar 61*).
