India, Oct. 29 -- Homemaker Prachi Desai and her nine-year-old daughter were returning from Viviana Mall around 9.30 pm when protesters stopped their cab at Majiwada. "For more than one hour, we sat in the cab watching passengers get down one by one from buses and walk away. At one point, we also saw drivers and conductors from the buses get off and abandon the vehicles on the road," she said. After waiting for over two hours, the cab driver asked them to get off and walk. The mother and daughter walked to Manpada junction, where Desai's husband picked them up around 1 am after driving on the wrong side of the road....
