state plans to use Class 12 exam marks for MHT-CET merit list
Mumbai, Sept. 18 -- Admission to undergraduate engineering and pharmacy courses in Maharashtra could soon be based on both MHT-CET scores and Class 12 examination results. The state government has initiated steps to introduce Class 12 marks as an additional criterion in preparing the admission merit list. The higher and technical education department issued an order on Thursday and formed a committee to recommend the weightage for Class 12 marks and the academic year from which the system could be introduced.
