Chennai, April 13 -- All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami has accused Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin of promoting dynastic politics and charged the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) government with pushing the state into a mounting debt crisis. In an interview with HT ahead of the state polls, Palaniswami also alleged that the DMK government had fostered a culture of "corruption, collection and commission" during its tenure. ".[Stalin] grew up in the shadow of his father, M Karunanidhi. And just like how his father elevated him within the party without any success, Mr Stalin has done the same for his son Udayanidhi..." Palaniswami also defended the AIADMK's alliance with the BJP, saying the tie-up was forged "purely out of a commitment to the welfare of the people"....
