NAVI MUMBAI, Aug. 22 -- An unidentified man, around 50, was killed after allegedly being knocked down by a speeding truck near the Vashi toll plaza on Thursday morning. The accident occurred around 6am on the Mumbai-bound lane, around 50 metres from the toll naka, following which the Vashi police booked the truck driver for alleged rash and negligent driving. The accused, Virendra Kumar Lalta Prasad Rajbhar, 36, a resident of Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh, was driving a truck towards Mumbai when the accident occurred....
