Navi Mumbai, July 8 -- A 35-year-old man was killed and five others were injured after a speeding car rammed multiple vehicles before crashing into a roadside food stall in Taloja on Tuesday afternoon. The driver abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene. The accident occurred around noon in Sector 9 of Taloja Phase I. The car was allegedly being driven at high speed when the driver lost control. "The car first rammed into a two-wheeler, an autorickshaw and a tempo before crashing into a food stall beside the footpath. The impact was so severe that the motorcycle landed on top of the tempo, trapping the rider underneath," said a local resident. The deceased was identified as Nadeem Azam Khan, 35, who police said was returning from a gym when the accident occurred. He died on the spot. Five others were injured....
