Mumbai, May 2 -- Sumeir Zaveri, who starred for eventual winners MCA Yellow, topped the batting charts with 390 runs (average 78) at a strike rate of 178.89 in the MCA Champions Trophy. Shaun Rodrigues and Aryan Patni both aggregated 288 runs with three fifties each to share the best batters award. Harsh Rane also made an impact, hitting two fifties for MCA Blue while scoring 129 runs (average 64.50 and strike rate of 195.45). In bowling, where the economy rate (ER) matters along with the number of wickets, Soham Sonawane of MCA Yellow was the top performer with nine wickets in four matches at a rate of 5.35. He was the only bowler to take a fifer. Sagar Mishra and Atharva Bhosale picked eight wickets each to be joint second-highest wicket-takers. Sagar had an impressive economy rate of 4.21 in 19 overs.
