India, June 24 -- The Special Investigation Team constituted to probe the alleged embezzlement of donations at the Ayodhya Ram Temple submitted a preliminary report to the Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday while seeking more time to complete the investigation. Officials familiar with the matter said it covers alleged cash theft, disappearance of ornaments donated by devotees and a review of administrative practices at the temple.
