Review ticketed spaces in Coastal Rd Garden plan: BMC
MUMBAI, June 30 -- The master plan of the Coastal Road Gardens will be unveiled by the BMC soon, after modifications are made to ensure that ticketed recreational spaces do not exceed the Supreme Court-mandated figure of 15%.
While the extended garden -- spread along 70 hectares along the Coastal Road Promenade - is being developed as a green oasis in the city, the ticketed portion of the plan has both surprised and provoked disapproval from architects and urban planners.
