MUMBAI, April 11 -- A man died and another was injured in a fire in a residential building in Kamathipura on Friday afternoon, said officials. The incident was reported at 3:40 pm from the 9th Lane near Shankar Mandir. According to the fire brigade, the blaze was confined to electrical wiring, installations, air-conditioning units, fans, clothes and other household items. Firefighters brought the situation under control within half an hour, extinguishing the flames by 4:10 pm. An unidentified man in his early 30s was rushed to Sir JJ Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival. One more person sustained injuries and is undergoing treatment. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, civic officials said....
