Mumbai, Feb. 8 -- Mumbai pacers Mohit Avasthi and Tushar Deshpande bowled brilliantly to claim four wickets each to bundle out Karnataka for 173 on Day 2 of the Ranji Trophy quarter-final, at the MCA-BKC ground. Mumbai were under tremendous pressure after being bowled out for a paltry 120 on Day 1, but Avasthi and Deshpade helped the hosts to get back into the match. Mumbai's top order batters then fared better in the second essay to help the side reach 189/2 at the end of Day 2 to help them lead by 136 runs with eight wickets in hand. Keeper-batter Akash Anand is batting on 53 and Musheer Khan on 49, sharing an unfinished 112 run partnership.
