Mumbai/New Delhi, Sept. 24 -- India added five medals to its Asian Games tally on Wednesday, with weightlifter Mirabai Chanu at the forefront as she ended her wait for a podium finish at the event with silver in the women's 49kg category. The 32-year-old was chasing an elusive medal at Aichi-Nagoya to add to a glittering career that includes a 2017 world title, an Olympic silver and three Commonwealth Games golds. Jay Meena also created history, winning India's first ever medal in soft tennis, taking bronze in his third Asian Games.
