MUMBAI, June 28 -- Byculla police have arrested a 39-year-old man for allegedly distributing tablets containing Zinc Phosphide, a standard rodenticide, during the Muharram procession at Byculla on Friday. Many participants at the procession - which started from Noor Baug, Dongri and made its way towards Rehmat Baug Kabrastab through Hannock Bridge -- consumed the tablets that the accused claimed were pain killers. While a few felt nauseous, some fainted after consuming the tablets, said police.
