THANE, Aug. 27 -- A 19-year-old man was arrested and a minor boy was booked for allegedly vandalising at least 15 vehicles and setting two of them on fire in the Kolshewadi area of Kalyan in the early hours of Wednesday. The duo also allegedly set an electricity meter box and a tin shed on fire, triggering panic among residents, police said. The arrested accused was identified as Sahil Firoz Sheikh, 19. According to the police, Sheikh and the minor are allegedly drug addicts and have previously damaged several cars, bikes, tempos and other two- and three-wheelers in areas around Khade Golavali. Nitin Pagar, senior police inspector at the Kolshewadi police station, told HT, "We have arrested the accused and booked the minor for vandalising and burning the vehicles. We have initiated further investigation into the matter."...
