Kolhe slams 163 as Churchgate Centre capture title
Mumbai, May 24 -- Aarush Kolhe scored an impressive 163 against Thane Centre to lead Churchgate Centre to the title, via first innings lead, at the 34th LIC Kalpesh Koli Memorial Cricket Tournament on Saturday.
Kolhe was adjudged both the player of the match and tournaments, while his teammate Shardul Fagare was given the award for best batter.
Rajveer Lad was the best bowler, Tanmay Malusare was the best wicketkeeper, while Jay Mhatre and Aarav Sethi were given the best promising player and best promising bowler awards respectively.
Brief scores: Thane Centre drew with Churchgate Centre 370/7 (A Kolhe 163, N Gurav 77, S Fagare 68), Churchgate Centre won on first innings lead.
Aadit Degaonkar took 5/17 as he helped CST Centre A bowl out Dahanu Centre B for 157 to clinch the U-23 Madhav Mantri Summer Camp Trophy title.
