Mumbai, Sept. 16 -- The Santacruz police on Monday served notices to two developers for allegedly carrying out construction after 10 pm and causing noise pollution at two sites on Juhu Tara Road, Santacruz (West). Construction activities are only permitted between 6 am and 10 pm. The first FIR was registered on a complaint by a resident Bharat Giri, 42, over work opposite Sea Princess. The project was being carried out by Nutandas Vikasak, contractor Chandan Suryavanshi of Jogeshwari and supervisor Ramkumar Awasthi . Giri alleged that work continued until 2 am on Sunday, with drilling, cutting, machinery and labour movement disturbing residents.
