Mumbai, July 17 -- India put up a disappointing batting display, being bowled out for 233 runs in 44 overs during the 2nd ODI against England at Cardiff on Thursday. Except for Virat Kohli (65 off 66 balls) and Shreyas Iyer (66 off 71 balls), no one else made a notable contribution. The innings which began with some glorious cover drives from Shubman Gill (31) never gained any real momentum. It didn't help that opener Rohit Sharma looked scratchy throughout his stay. Barring one signature front foot pull off Atkinson, Rohit found the going tough. It (26 off 47 balls) was one of his slowest knocks of late. Virat Kohli had no such problems; he seemed to be easing towards another tall ODI score when Jofra Archer's lifter undid him for 65 in the 32nd over. From 178/3, the Indian innings lost its way, despite Shreyas Iyer's fluent 66....
