Chennai, July 2 -- The TVK and the DMK on Wednesday accused each other of horse-trading, with the ruling party alleging that the Opposition tried to induce TVK MLAs to vote against the Speaker in the Tamil Nadu assembly. Three people were arrested following the allegation. The DMK, however, countered by accusing chief minister Vijay and MDMK chief Vaiko of plotting to poach two of its MLAs.
The arrests came after a TVK MLA approached police, alleging that a man claiming to head a political consultancy offered Rs.35 crore to vote in favour of a no-confidence motion against Speaker JCD Prabhakar.P8...
