MUMBAI, July 25 -- Dumping garbage and plastic waste on the streets and in public places may lead to criminal cases being filed against the public. The Bombay High Court on Thursday directed the BMC to take strict action, including initiating criminal cases, against such citizens. "Careless approach on the part of the citizens, who unabatedly indulge in such activities, is causing serious damage to the environment apart from causing undue pressure on the municipal machinery.
