Mumbai, Sept. 30 -- In light of the drought situation in the state, the Maharashtra government is likely to impose a 10% cut in drinking water supply in urban areas, including Mumbai and other cities. While the BMC said there was sufficient water stock to last until May 17, 2027, it is unlikely to withdraw the existing 10% cut.
