MUMBAI, Oct. 3 -- The decomposed body of an unidentified man, suspected to have been murdered, was recovered from the Versova coast on Friday morning, police said. The body was found stuffed inside a gunny bag near the beach at Devachiwadi on JP Road. The deceased, believed to be between 35 and 40 years old, was wearing a black sleeveless T-shirt with red, black and white designs on the front and black track pants. Police noticed injuries around the man's neck and registered a case of murder against unidentified persons. The body was sent to Cooper Hospital for a post-mortem examination. Investigators suspect the man may have been killed, with his hands and legs tied, before his body was placed in the gunny bag and thrown into the sea. Police are now working to establish his identity and determine the circumstances surrounding his death. A photograph of the deceased has been circulated among police stations across the city to check whether any missing-person complaint matches his description. htc...
