CNG prices set to go up by Rs.1
MUMBAI, Oct. 1 -- The price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is likely to go up by Rs.1 from October 1. While no official statement was issued by Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL), senior members of Petrol Dealer's Association in Mumbai and CNG pump owners said they had received intimation from MGL on Wednesday evening which said CNG prices "will be revised and increased by a rupee in Mumbai". This will take the price to Rs.89 per kg. CNG prices have seen four hikes in the last six months.
