CJP's Instagram account briefly blocked in India amid protests
New Delhi, July 23 -- The Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) official Instagram account was briefly blocked in India on Wednesday amid the ongoing student protests at Delhi's Jantar Mantar.
For about five minutes, users attempting to access the account saw a message stating it was "not available in India" because Instagram had "complied with a legal request to restrict this content."
No legal notice was received by CJP, a spokesperson told HT. The account was later restored, according to CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke.
