Kolkata, May 22 -- The Calcutta high court on Thursday ordered the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to probe the 2024 RG Kar Hospital rape-and-murder case after the deceased doctor's parents alleged a larger conspiracy and attempts to hide evidence. The court has sought the SIT's report by June 25.
