Biker stabbed to death in road rage clash in Malad
MUMBAI, March 15 -- A 28-year-old biker was stabbed to death following a road rage clash with a cab driver near Mithi Chowky junction on Link Road in Malad on Saturday, police said.
The accused, cab driver Satendra Gupta, 28, has been arrested by the Bangur Nagar police.
Police said the incident occurred around 11:55 am near the Mithi Chowky junction when the biker, Sarik Shabbir Ansari, allegedly collided with the accused's car, leading to a dispute.
During the argument, Ansari allegedly smashed the car's windshield with his helmet, following which Gupta allegedly attacked him with a sharp object, suspected to be a car key, stabbing him in the chest and neck.
The victim collapsed after heavy bleeding and was taken by locals to Criticare Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Ansari was a resident of MHADA Colony in Malad West, and worked with a digital marketing firm near Mindspace,
the accused Gupta lives in Laljipada, Kandivali., police said.
Police are registering a murder case against the accused under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita....
