Mumbai, June 20 -- A 55-year-old autorickshaw driver was killed on Thursday night when a portion of a parapet crashed from the B-wing of the 17-storey Galaxy Apartment, in Kurla East. The broken piece of concrete struck the victim, Abdul Wahab Shaikh, as he was walking towards a tea stall around 9.30 pm. Despite suffering severe head injuries, passers-by did not help, but one of them rushed to inform his family that resides nearby.
