AI flight Enters pak airspace; atc and flight crew de-rostered
New Delhi, June 25 -- An Air India flight "briefly" entered Pakistan airspace while manoeuvring a go-around at Amritsar airport on June 22, the airline and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said. The flight crew and the air traffic controller (ATC) have been de-rostered over the incident.
"Interim action has been taken against the concerned air traffic controller at Amritsar and the operating crew for non reporting of the event," DGCA said.
Pakistan has closed its airspace for Indian airlines since April 2025.P6...
