Mumbai, Aug. 24 -- The Mira-Bhayandar-Vasai-Virar police (MBVV) crime branch on Saturday arrested actor-cum-model Rohullah Mehdi for allegedly supplying narcotics worth Rs.5.60 lakh to a peddler in Mira Road. Acting on a tip-off about Mephedrone or MD being sold via social media platforms, the MBVV crime branch laid a trap and arrested a peddler identified as Kasif from Mira Road, and seized 28 grams of MD from him. When questioned, the peddler revealed Rohullah Mehdi as the drug supplier; accordingly the actor was named as the main accused in the FIR, and arrested on Saturday night from a studio in Malad, where he was shooting, said Sanjay Shintre, deputy commissioner of police (DCP), MBVV crime branch....
