Mumbai, May 11 -- A Gulmohar tree fell on an autorickshaw at Khar's road no 8 at 6:19 pm on Sunday, injuring two girls. The injured have been identified as Aarika Shrivastava and Harshita Kumar. The auto driver rushed them to the PD Hinduja Hospital. "Both underwent brain surgery," said Joy Chakraborty, COO, PD Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre. Civic officials said the tree fell from the site of an under-construction building. Khar police has filed a suo moto case for negligence. "We, too, shall take action," a BMC official said....
