2 tigers with limbs chopped off found
India, May 20 -- Carcasses of two tigers with all four limbs severed has been found in the Shyampur range of Haridwar forest division, a buffer zone of the Rajaji Tiger Reserve, officials said on Tuesday, adding that a 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. Officials said that two accused, Alam and Amir Hamza, allegedly killed the tigers by spraying poison on the carcass of a buffalo that the tiger fed on. "The accused were found trying to extract the tiger's teeth and skin. By then, they had already cut off all four limbs of the tigers," Divisional forest officer Swapnil Anirudh said.
