Mumbai, Oct. 19 -- A 17-year-old boy died after he was allegedly assaulted by a 16-year-old following an argument outside a cafe in Nalasopara on Friday night. The accused allegedly punched the teenager repeatedly and pushed him onto a footpath, leaving him with a severe head injury. The incident took place around 11.30pm near Baithak Cafe, where the two boys got into an argument, according to the Achole police. Police are still investigating the reason for the dispute. The argument escalated, and the accused allegedly punched the victim on his face, chest and abdomen. He then allegedly held the teenager's neck under his left arm and forcefully pushed him onto the footpath. The victim sustained a severe injury to the back of his head and was rushed to a nearby hospital by locals, where he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment. The Achole police initially registered an accidental death report but later registered a murder case after an investigation into the incident....
